Kay Cosserat knitwear at the V&A Museum in London and at OgoVintage

Written by ogo on . Posted in Cozy Chic Sweaters, Exquisite Ensembles

Once in awhile a design talent stands out from the rest, and continues to garner recognition, despite the too-early demise of the esteemed designer.  Such is the case with the British textile and knitwear designer, Kay Cosserat, who tragically passed away at an early age, leaving far too few examples of her striking knitwear designs.  The Victoria and Albert Museum in London has several items of Kay Cosserat knitwear in their permanent costume collection.  Kay Cosserat was a member of the British Royal Designers of Industry.  OgoVintage is fortunate to have a 3 piece Kay Cosserat ensemble, with a full skirt, sweater top, and thick, double layer sweater coat, available on the OgoVintage etsy shop.  Link to the OgoVintage etsy shop listing:

Some old-fashioned romance…

Written by ogo on . Posted in Romantic & Seductive

A little old fashioned romance goes a long way in this modern, technological world.  Nothing beats the charm of ecru lace, so easy to pair with a long black velvet skirt, or your favorite jeans.  Every stylish gal ought to have at least a few lace blouses in her permanent wardrobe to spice up those tailored pantsuits and classic separates, and let him know that you’re really not ALL business.  Which of these OgoVintage lace blouses do you prefer?
